Button Pumpkin

BUTTON PUMPKIN

I love buttons so I bought a bag of orange buttons at the quilt show to make a button pumpkin.   It was easy to make.  I just cut a piece of burlap the size of my frame and then ironed a piece of interfacing on the back of the burlap.  Next I freehanded an outline of a pumpkin on the burlap.

I used orange and tan embroidery floss to sew the buttons on.

Sew on the buttons overlapping slightly as you go to get a full look.
